General Tan Sri (Dr) Mohamed Hashim Bin Mohd Ali (Rtd), a Malaysian, was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director and Chairman of Delloyd Ventures Berhad (DVB) on 6 August 1996. He is also the Chairman of the Nomination Committee of the Board.
He holds a Diploma in Advance Business Management from Harvard Business School. He was conferred the Honorary Doctorate by the University of Salford, United Kingdom in 1999 and the Honorary Doctorate by the Malaysian National Defence University in October 2012.
Prior to his entry into the corporate world, General Tan Sri (Dr) Mohamed Hashim Bin Mohd Ali (Rtd) was the Chief of Defence Forces in the Malaysian Armed Forces where he chalked up 40 years of dedicated service. He also sit on the Board of a number of public listed and private companies.
He has no family relationship with any directors and/or major shareholders of DVB nor any personal interest in any business arrangement involving the company. He has not been convicted of any offences within the past 10 years.
